ArenaMetrix Performance System

CatchMetrix
Catching is the most technical position on the field. CatchMetrix trains it position-first — stances, receiving, blocking, throwing and leadership behind the plate.

Built for: CatchMetrix is built for driven, committed catchers who want to train with purpose and be held to a higher standard. The program is designed for players serious about measurable improvement, long-term development, and preparing for the demands of high-level high school, college, and professional baseball.
How the program runs
The CatchMetrix Performance System is a complete, year-round catcher-development program. CatchMetrix combines objective benchmark testing, individualized programming and position-specific instruction to improve the qualities that translate behind the plate. Athletes develop receiving, blocking, throwing, exchange efficiency, arm strength, mobility, power and overall athleticism through a structured test, train and retest process.
Unlike occasional lessons or one-size-fits-all catching programs, CatchMetrix builds each athlete’s plan around their age, current ability, movement profile, competitive schedule, physical needs and long-term goals. As practices, games, tournaments and workloads change, the training plan adjusts with them.
A developing 10U catcher, a high-school player pursuing a college opportunity and an advanced catcher preparing for the next level should not follow the same plan. CatchMetrix is built around the individual—not a generic catching template.
